I tried LightLife Gimmy Lean Ground Beef Style Sausage and I must say I am impressed. I haven’t tasted animal sausage in about six years but this really reminds me of the taste. It comes mushed together so you have to build the size of the patty but it’s very easy. Then you pan fry it for a few minutes with some olive oil, and voila! You’ve got sausages!
I have to say it’s very yummy!
I have not had good luck with many protein shakes. They either taste horrible or they are expensive. I am trying Alive! Pea Protein. It’s actually not that bad. If you mix it alone it tastes like vegetables. However, I added some berries, a banana, and some splenda and it tasted really good! No after taste either.
I highly recommend it!
Before I became a vegan I LOOOOVED Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but even the dark chocolate ones have milk (booo!) so I decided to make some of my own.
I started with very dark vegan chocolate (check the ingredients!) and some peanut butter.
I used a small cupcake pan and used aluminum foil for the filling.
I melted the chocolate in the microwave. I scooped little spoonfuls of peanut butter and placed them in the middle of the cup and then I added the chocolate.
Refrigerate it for a bit and voila! Chocolate peanut butter cups!
That means it has no wheat and it’s all protein!
I love these products! You can find them in the freezer isle with the breakfast foods.

I keep the bag in the fridge and toast the loaf of bread I want to eat it. I put vegan butter, peanut butter and jelly, or almond butter on it like a regular piece of bread.
I also enjoy their golden flax cereal. I eat it with some bananas and blueberries in vanilla coconut milk. I really enjoy that!
Seiten is a wheat gluten meat alternative. So if you’re sensitive to gluten or wheat, stay away from this! If you’re not then come on in and enjoy the eats!
I like to find this product at my local oriental store. You should venture to one, they have great vegan stuff! They have vegetarian curry chicken, sweet and sour vegetarian chicken, tofu, and all sorts of sauces.
What I made here was the vegetarian curry chicken but I cooked it on some soy and teriyaki sauce. This sauce is super tasty! You can add it to any dish and it will really make the food taste good!!
You can find the seiten mostly at oriental stores but the sauce, you can find anywhere.
Today I went to Whole Foods and bought some delicious yogurt and chocolate pudding. I like to buy the soy yogurts and the coconut milk yogurts. Even though I don’t like almond milk, I bought some almond milk yogurt today I really liked it! It was surprisingly good.
I also bough some soy milk pudding. I must say I really enjoyed it! Even my boyfriend, who doesn’t like most things said it was pretty good. It tasted very yummy!
Next time you’re at Whole foods, make sure you check out the yogurt isle. You’ll find many vegan options for you there!
Some of the Soy Milk Yogurts
Almond Milk Yogurt
Alright, there are many types of milk replacements. Some taste better than others. I like to drink soy milk or coconut milk. I don’t like almond milk, but you should try it, you might like it. I use these milks in anything I would use milk with such as coffee. I like to use soy and coconut milk, the vanilla flavored one is great for cereals and coffees, the unflavored one is good to add to to coffee with some Splenda or for eating a vegan cookie.
I also love the chocolate soymilk. It tastes great and there is no weird after taste. These milks are made with 0% dairy and are GOOD FOR YOU! no GMOs or hormones added. Ever.
If you like to add creamer to your coffee like I do, there are soy creamers in french vanilla and regular. They are thicker than the milks but I’ve found the milks serve the same purpose.
If you ever like to drink starbucks, then you can request the soy milk (for .60 cents more) and drink your favorite lattee or frap with soy milk. Be careful with the drizzle at the end though, that might not be vegan. Hold the whipped cream please!
If you like to go to Panera Bread, they also have soy milk! They don’t advertise it and it’s FREE to replace it for milk on your coffee. As it should be.
Well then! Enjoy your coffee and your very vegan milks!
